Well our WFP friends came and went. The visit did go well. It was a bit entertaining to see so many white people around. I wonder what the locals were thinking when they saw 15 UN Landcruisers pull up and dump out 50 people in the middle of their village. Our sites were well prepared and impressed the delegation, as planned. Now we sit and wait for a call for proposals where we throw some ideas together for future expansion of the project. I may just inflate the budget a bit so I can buy a tacky field vest like the ones the WFP folks sport. Who needs so many pockets? I don't know but I want one.
In other news, it's October. That means one thing, well 2 things. Playoff baseball and my birthday. So, if you're reading this you are now obligated to send me birthday packages (photography magazines, candy and DVD's or music). Sucker.

Shameless.
I know.
But my secret stash of "home" is fading.
